The Camden Schools Art Biennale returns to the borough in 2026.

A major exhibition and events programme at the Lethaby Gallery, Central Saint Martins and the King's Cross Estate, celebrating the creative energy of Camden’s schools.

2026 highlights

  • A 2-week exhibition: featuring artworks by children from every Camden school and every key stage of learning: with sculpture, collage, illustration, painting, drawing and film.
  • Events programme: a series of workshops for children and families.
  • 2D sculpture park across King's Cross estate: bringing young people's artwork out of the gallery and into public space.
  • Outreach: a diverse range of artists and cultural organisations have worked on artistic opportunities and outreach with almost half of Camden schools in the lead-up to the 2026 event.

Events and activities

    Think, Make, Do  Fair  

    Tuesday 21 July, 2-5pm

    Spend a playful afternoon exploring art school with staff and students from Central Saint Martins’ Schools.  Suitable for young people and their families, particularly 11-18 year olds.

    Drop-in family workshops  

    Saturday 18 July and Saturday 25 July.
    Drop in any time 12-3pm

    Hands-on weekend workshops led by our school outreach artists. Explore your creativity in response to the exhibition artworks. Open to families of all ages.

    A Young Artist's Guide to London [PDF, 1.3MB]

    A digital companion to help you explore London’s creative scene. Written for you by the Gallery Assistants from the Lethaby Gallery, who are current students and recent graduates from Central Saint Martins.

Creativity shapes not only what we make, but how we live. The Camden Schools Art Biennale begins from that conviction, and from a simple belief: we all have a right to imagine. Central Saint Martins, working with Camden Council and Camden Learning, is helping every young person in our borough see art as a way of making sense of the world, and changing it.
