Summary of the Graduate Package

UAL Graduates who successfully complete their Bachelors and Masters (or Postgraduate) Programmes have access to the Graduate Package.

This includes extended use of:

  • UAL email address
  • Graduate Employability Hub Moodle site
  • a selection of library and online resources

for 12 months starting from the official completion date of their course.

Graduates who are eligible
  • Students completing Bachelors or Masters courses

Eligible students who are approaching their course end date will be sent an email 2 months prior to their course end date asking them to agree to UAL’s terms of use.

Students will have up to 3 months after their course end date to agree to terms of use, during which time several reminders will be sent to both UAL and personal email addresses.

If no agreement has been given by this date, then the offer of extended access and employability support will be withdrawn. Unfortunately, It is not possible to reinstate access after that point as accounts will have been deleted.

Graduates who are not eligible
  • Students on FE courses (or any course other than Bachelors or Masters)
  • Students who have failed (*see below)
  • Students studying on (International) UAL programmes, outside of the UK
  • Students studying on UAL online courses.

*Students who have not successfully completed (failed) their courses are still able to access some employability resources on UAL’s website and can still attend online workshops.

They can also book one-to-ones, with Employability Specialists (for up to 6 months/year). However, they will not have access to the Graduate Package.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I have completed my course but am still undertaking deferrals or referrals?

Students who have been required to take referrals or deferrals after their original course end date will still have access to the graduate extension from the time of the original course end date. The extension will not be delayed or extended due to referrals and deferrals.

Do I still have access if I progress immediately to a Masters Course?

An Undergraduate who begins a Masters course at UAL immediately upon completion of their Batchelors degree will still have their extended access from the time of their bachelor's course completion date. During this time while still studying they will also have normal full access to online resources and to career support provided by Careers & Employability. A new (second) graduate extension will then start from the Masters course completion date.

What if I have missed the deadline of signing up to the Graduate Extended Access but still want to benefit?

It is not possible to reinstate access after the deadline has passed as accounts will have been deleted and the offer of extended access will be withdrawn as described in the policy. You can continue to access and employability resources on UAL’s website and can still attend online workshops and book 121s, with Graduate Employability Specialists.
