Sarabande BA Fashion Scholarship

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Sarabande BA Fashion Scholarship, students must be:

• Enrolled on the first year of the full-time BA Fashion course at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London starting in September 2024.

About

Sarabande Foundation was established by the late Sarabande MA Fashion CBE to provide undergraduate and postgraduate students experiencing financial hardship with an equal opportunity to study fashion.

The Foundation offers scholarships to ensure that the creative talent of gifted, yet disadvantaged students, can flourish in their academic studies and creative development.

The scholarship will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit. It will provide a contribution of £8,000 per annum towards living expenses and course costs for the duration of the course except the placement year.

Applications are encouraged from students who are unable to finance themselves through their studies but are gifted with an abundance of talent and dare to challenge the status quo.

Applicants must have a raw, original talent complimented by a strong drive to succeed in the fashion industry.

Receiving payment

The scholarship will provide a contribution of £8,000 per annum (except the placement year) towards course costs and living expenses.

Course costs and living expenses payments will be paid in termly instalments via BACS to the award recipient.
