In January, we welcomed Central Saint Martins (CSM) alumni from the BA (Hons) Jewellery Design and MA Design: Jewellery courses back to the College for a private view of the Caroline Broadhead: A Retrospective exhibition at the Lethaby Gallery. They were joined by current students and tutors.

Despite the threat of snow, over 100 alumni attended and it was a wonderful opportunity for people to reunite and catch-up with their former course mates and tutors over a few drinks.

Guests were welcomed to the event by current Course Leader, Giles Last who encouraged people to share their stories, and highlighted the importance of staying in touch with each other after graduation.

Caroline also spoke at the event, giving further insight into her process and her work. The exhibition displayed work from across four decades and reflected on her pioneering creative output. With her use of jewellery design as a departure point, her creations are designed to be worn on the body and changed through touch and interaction.
